About

LINCtype is a keyboarding practice resource. It helps learners practice typing and fix common typing mistakes. It is designed for adult newcomers learning English in LINC Literacy classes.

LINCtype was designed and developed by Jeremy Wilson, with assistance from Donna Clarke and John Vasquez.

It was built with the help of Anthropic's Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex, and ElevenLabs.

Thank you to ElevenLabs for supporting TIES through the Impact Program, making accessible audio narration possible for our learners.

This resource is designed with accessibility in mind and aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. It also meets several Level AAA requirements, including enhanced colour contrast, larger touch targets, and plain-language content.
